Kristina Georgoulakis received a Diploma from University of Athens, Dpt. of Informatics and Telecommunications in 1990, a Master’s degree from University of Athens, Dpt. of Informatics and Telecommunications in 1993 and a PhD on   Signal processing and pattern recognition techniques for telecommunications systems, from University of Athens, Dpt. of Informatics and Telecommunications in 1999. She has authored 34 articles that have been published in refereed international scientific journals and conference proceedings.  Since 2017 she is a member of the Laboratorial Teaching Staff in the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering at the University of West Attica. Her research interests are in Signal Processing for communications systems.
